EEPG aims & objectives

The European Educational Publishers Group – the EEPG – was founded in 1991 and is a network for European educational publishers. At present, we have 20 members, representing 20 different European countries, because we only allow one member per country.

Together, we represent a wealth of knowledge and experience from the educational and publishing sectors in Europe. Funded exclusively by our membership fees, the EEPG acts as a non-profit group, assisting in and initiating co-productions between members.

Since the beginning, the aims and objectives of the EEPG have been and still are:

  • To develop educational materials on a pan-European basis
  • To research and share information on educational developments across Europe
  • To identify areas for joint creations of new products for Europe
  • To build a network of relationships between staff of leading schoolbook publishing houses across Europe

The EEPG wishes to nourish a non-biased and non-prejudiced approach amongst young people to historical and cultural differences and backgrounds
