The EEPG strategy with one member per country enables our members to share and present sensitive information about future plans and projects for open discussion and in confidence.
Our members are at the same time free to collaborate with publishing houses outside the EEPG. However, the EEPG always encourages members to grant options to fellow members and colleagues in the group.
All overall decisions within the EEPG group are made by the General Assembly at our annual meeting in Frankfurt.
The EEPG exerts its influence as a collective voice where possible concerning a better understanding of our profession as publishers. The complexity and demand of knowhow is great and hence better represented as a group.
Pedagogically, culturally and historically, we have so much to gain from each other within the EEPG. We believe our diversity of languages and cultures to be our strength. Furthermore, our common knowledge bank enables all the EEPG members to be informed on developments and trends within the educational market in Europe.
Our cross-border communication is very well developed on the EEPG website. The open section informs generally about the group, whereas the protected member section includes many types of information (newsletters, meeting minutes etc.) and various contact for a have been established in order to encourage the direct contact between our member publishing houses that works independently of our network meetings.
By joining the EEPG, our members have gained a collective and influential voice within the educational and publishing sectors in Europe
